"Without faith (in the sense of assuming things that cannot be logically proven) science would never get off the ground. All scientists are deeply committed to the principle of faith: they assume their own integrity, the existence of the world as an objective reality, the uniformity of nature, the dependability of their senses, the law of cause and effect and the existence of reality beyond their physical sight. To put it simply, every scientist exercises faith while searching for facts. Interestingly, all of these assumptions fit perfectly into a biblical, theistic world-view."
